What is a webinar?
A webinar is simply an online seminar. You can attend the live session or watch the recording at any time. You can watch webinars on PCs, laptops, iPads, tablets and mobiles.
How do I attend a live webinar?
Simply click on the link in your reminder emails or the link showing when you are logged in to the membership area at physiotherapywebinars.com. It is best to join the meeting 10 – 15 minutes before the webinar is scheduled to start. When the webinar starts, the presentation will appear on your computer screen and you will hear the presenter’s voice through your headphones or speakers. You can watch in the comfort of your own home, clinic, consulting room or from wherever you choose.
Must I attend the live event?
No. All our webinars are recorded, so if you miss a live event you can login to your membership area and watch the recordings whenever you want to. Recordings will be available in your membership area 1-2 days after the live webinars have taken place.
Can I watch a webinar on my iPad or mobile?
Yes, you can attend live events or watch recordings on desktops, laptops, iPads, tablets and mobiles. To watch recordings, just login to your membership area at physiotherapywebinars.com. To attend live events you will need to download the Adobe Connect app for your mobile device. If you are struggling with this, our notification and reminder emails have detailed instructions.
Do I need any special equipment?
No, just a decent broadband connection.
How do I join Physiotherapy Webinar Club?
Visit the Physiotherapy Webinar Club home page www.physiotherapywebinars.com and check for any special offers! Then go to ‘Membership’ in the menu and select ‘Join’. Complete a short online order form and start enjoying your membership immediately.
Can I buy individual webinars?
Not at the moment. To watch webinars, join Physiotherapy Webinar Club on an annual or a monthly basis.
Do I get a certificate for my CPD records?
Yes. After watching either a live or recorded webinar you will be able to download a certificate of attendance for your CPD record. You will find a ‘Download Certificate’ button at the bottom of each webinar recordings page in your membership area.
How can Webinars help you complete your CPD?
You can watch your recorded webinars at any time. Perhaps a client cancels an appointment at the last minute, or you have a break during a session. Use the time to complete your CPD online and get current clinical information from leading experts. Webinars allow you to control your time and save you money as you have no loss of earnings, travel or accommodation fees required to attend courses.
