Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo is the most common cause of vertigo encountered in clinical practice. Physiotherapists are in an excellent position to manage patients with BPPV, however confidence levels vary among treating clinicians. There is emerging evidence is showing high incidence rates of BPPV in patients who fall and that having BPPV can increased the risk of patients falling. During this webinar we will cover the prevalence and impact of BPPV on the general population, the pathophysiology and assessment of treatment of posterior canal and the geotropic variant of the horizontal canal BPPV.
