This presentation is for any Healthcare professionals who are likely to come across an individual with a spinal cord injury. It is designed to give a broad overview of how a spinal cord injury can present and complications that can occur and how to manage these. It does not cover functional transfers or treatment but gives you an idea of what to look out for in an acute setting prior to rehabilitation but also key areas to be aware of post rehabilitation if for example an individual attended an outpatient clinic. Included are key charities which provide support for individuals with a spinal cord injury.
